Leaving Certificate Geography Field Studies:

Burren Nature Sanctuary has developed a curriculum based Leaving Certificate Geography Field Studies program which will provide students with the skills and knowledge to complete the Geographical Investigation Reporting Booklet.

Curriculum Topics 2018:

  • The impact of geomorphic processes on the surface of a karst environment
  • A study of landforms to assess the impact of geomorphic erosional forces on their formation

On completion, students will have developed skills including:

  • Map reading
  • Observation
  • Data interpretation
  • Presentation

Booking Details:

Project Location:     Burren Nature Sanctuary, Kinvara, Co Galway

Project Duration:     5 hours 10am – 3pm

Prices: (minimum of 10 students)

€30 per student for group of 10 to 20

€27 per student for group of 20 plus

Optional Extras:

Lunch:     €8 per student (soup, sandwich, hot chocolate)
